At first glance, the brief seemed straightforward: craft a premium identity that still embraces a sense of fun. The real challenge, however, lay in bringing together two qualities - playful and premium - that typically sit at opposite ends of the spectrum.
Playful & Premium
The final concept resolves the Premium but Playful juxtoposition by featuring two figures in a classic barber–client pose, forming a striking and memorable mark that subtly shapes the letter ‘a’.
As a result, Alpha Room sets itself apart in a crowded market, where branding so often relies on predictable symbols like scissors and clippers.
